“Por unha Alianza no Sector Industrial Galego” (For an alliance in the Galician industrial sector): concludes the round of meetings with great success of participation

The Consello Económico e Social de Galicia (CES) celebrated yesterday the last of the three meetings framed into the initiative " Por unha Alianza no Sector Industrial Galego". Presented by the CES President, Corina Porro, and moderated by Xose H. Vázquez, Professor at University of Vigo, had the participation of about 100 stakeholders in the industry.

During the conference, the different groups, formed by unions, companies, universities and institutions, contributed their knowledge and experiences in relation to the five areas under study. In the first day, the topics to be discussed were the "Regulation of framework conditions" and the "territorial factors of competitiveness", in the second, the theme focused on "Human capital" and "Research and innovation" and, finally, yesterday Wednesday they talked about "Investment and attraction / retention of capital".

Throughout these meetings, a great number of reflections and proposals have been extracted, resulting from the active participation of the attendees, which will be a fundamental input for the drafting of the final report, which will be published after being submitted to validation by the sectoral commission 3 of the CES.
